About me

My name is Zachary Dunlap.

My work focuses heavily on ceramic glaze chemistry and more specifically, crystalline ceramics. I have a fascination with the interactions between elements at high temperatures, and understanding the spectrum of colour and design these interactions can achieve. This is a place where science, art, technology and nature all smash together. This is where my passion is.  

I am a craftsman making wheel thrown ceramics, and the forms I choose to make are inspired by the hard and soft edges of the world around me. I create functional and non functional, sculptural, and large scale pottery.
